Success is something you attract by the person you become.
I’m sure you’ve read Stephen Covey’s “7 Habits of Highly Effective People” sometime in your life. It’s one of those books that you should read every year. Kind of like a refresher course. Have you gone to a convention, trade show, symposium or expo? You come back energized, thinking like nothing can stop you. Then life happens. You get back home to reality. However, you try to adapt, incorporate, or follow-up with everything you learned, people you met, things you want to do to take your business to the next level. (By the way, Greater Phoenix SCORE has such a Symposium coming up on March 15! Click here for details!)
This video shows an nice illustration of Covey’s 7 Habits:
Habit 1: Be proactive.
Habit 2: Begin with the end in mind.
Habit 3: Put first things first.
Habit 4: Think win-win.
Habit 5: Seek first to understand, then to be understood.
Habit 6: Synergize.
Habit 7: Sharpen the saw.
